Texas city scandalized as female mayor becomes first ever leader to be reprimanded over her conduct

The female mayor of a Texas city has become the first of its leaders to be formally reprimanded and suspended from office for alleged misconduct.

Paulette Guajardo, who runs Corpus Christi, southeast of San Antonio near the southernmost tip of the state, was suspended for 30 days by the city council on Friday.
