Georgia Woman Files Anti-Flock Class Action Suit, Claims They Capture Images of the Driver

On August 25, 2026, per Independent First for Atlanta, Grace Schulte of Dahlonega, Georgia served as the lead plaintiff in a class action lawsuit filed against Flock Safety. The full civil action filing is available at ClassAction.org.

Concerns listed in the lawsuit include law enforcement personnel’s ability to use Flock cameras to conduct personal surveillance, rather than strictly professional activities, with former personnel still having ready access to departmental files. Additionally, problems involve “data sharing contrary to legal restrictions, inaccurate license plate identification producing false police alerts and accurate vehicle location records being treated as evidence of criminal activity they did not establish.”
