2 arrested for BUI in separate Lake Lanier incidents over Labor Day weekend

Two people were arrested for boating under the influence after separate incidents on Lake Lanier over the Labor Day weekend, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.

On Sunday, Sept. 6, Georgia DNR Game Wardens responded to a boating incident near Port Royal Marina in Forsyth County. A pontoon boat had run aground and was resting completely on a shoal.
