Hall Schools expand learning commons with $100k gift

HALL COUNTY, Ga. — Four Hall County schools are upgrading their learning commons after a $100,000 donation from the Melvin Douglas and Victoria Kay Ivester Foundation, district officials announced.

West Hall Middle School, Flowery Branch Elementary, Sugar Hill Elementary and Martin Elementary each received $25,000 to modernize their spaces with new instructional resources designed to support creativity, collaboration and student-centered learning.
