After infighting over Dallas City Hall, Central Library, a board member was axed from his position

DALLAS — A city board member was replaced after questioning the Dallas library director’s stance on selling City Hall and the Central Library, according to city documents. Officials claim in documents that an email the board member sent to the director about the two properties violated the city’s code of ethics.

The Dallas City Council approved sanctions against the board member at its meeting May 27 as part of its consent agenda.

Lorie Blair, the council person who named a replacement board member, said it had nothing to do with any sanctions or ethics complaints…
