Dallas Advances Plan for Tiny Home Village to Support Veterans Experiencing Homelessness

The Dallas City Council has approved the transfer of more than seven acres of city-owned land in southern Dallas to a nonprofit organization planning to build a transitional housing community for veterans experiencing homelessness.

Under the agreement, Veterans Community Project will develop a 7.3-acre site at 4515 S. Lancaster Road into a village featuring 50 fully furnished tiny homes and a community support center designed to help veterans transition into permanent housing and long-term stability.
