Lake O’ Pines set for evaluation of East Texas water amounts in new study

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas (KLTV) – East Texas has more water than it needs — and now, cities more than 100 miles away want in.

As a result, Northeast Texas’ Municipal Water District is taking inventory of the amount at the Lake of the Pines, the amount used, and what could be shared.
