HAMILTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Cincinnati man with alleged ties to a cartel was arrested following a lengthy investigation conducted by the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force (BURN) on Thursday, May 28.
According to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, agents seized over 150 grams of fentanyl mixed with xylazine and other synthetic narcotics.
Investigators estimate that the seizure equates to approximately 75,000 potentially lethal doses of fentanyl, which would have been otherwise distributed into communities in the Miami Valley.
