DeCriscio and Tears go deep, but TinCaps fall again at Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WANE) – Justin DeCriscio and Kavares Tears each smacked a solo shot for the TinCaps, but Fort Wayne’s rough stretch continued with a 7-3 loss at the Dayton Dragons on Saturday.

Despite snapping an 8-game skid Friday night, Fort Wayne has lost 14-of-17 games dating back to May 26.

DeCriscio crushed his fourth home run of the season in the first inning to give the TinCaps a 1-0 lead. Dayton’s Carlos Sanchez blasted a solo homer of his own to tie the game in the third inning. Tears put the TinCaps back in front 2-1 with his sixth round-tripper of the season in the fourth inning.
