WILBERFORCE, Ohio (WKEF) — Greene County Coroner Dr. Kevin Sharrett ruled 18-year-old Savanna Jones cause of death is acute ventricular dysrhythmia and acute alcohol intoxication.
Savanna Jones, an 18-year-old Wilberforce University student died after an alleged hazing incident on campus in April.
This summer, attorney Rex Elliott introduced a lawsuit against Wilberforce University on behalf of Jones’ family. The suit alleged Jones died after an initiation into a campus club called “The Turtles” required her to drink copious amounts of alcohol.
