Cat saved by Dayton Police while crossing I-75 finds its forever home

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The cat who was rescued last month by a Dayton Police officer while trying to cross Interstate 75 has a new home.

Dayton Police Sgt. Gordon Cairns was working traffic enforcement on March 10 when a woman stopped behind him to flag him down, then told him about the unfortunate feline.

“Right where 35 and 75 merged together on the inside wall,” Cairns said. “There’s this little gray.”…
