DENVER (KDVR) — A Denver neighborhood bar is asking for the community’s help after a custom tricycle used by one of its DJs was stolen from the business, calling it more than just a bike but part of someone’s livelihood.
Desert Social Denver said surveillance video captured a man entering the property’s back lot around6 a.m. Sunday, cutting a lock and walking away with the bright orange cargo tricycle before riding off.

The tricycle belongs to El Salvaje, a DJ, who has spent the past several months bringing his mobile DJ setup to the South Broadway bar every Saturday.
“It just shows somebody coming in and just making themselves at home and grabbing the tricycle. He did cut the lock in the back with ease and just made himself in. He had no hesitation. There was no quickness to him. He just felt comfortable during the sunlight to do it,” said the owner of Desert Social, Victor Ayala.
He said the tricycle wasn’t just transportation. He said in many Mexican communities, cargo tricycles are commonly used by vendors selling everything from tamales to other goods and services. El Salvaje transformed his into a one-of-a-kind mobile DJ booth complete with music equipment and lights…
