DENVER (KDVR) – Officials in Northglenn are warning the public that a man believed to be armed, dangerous and a suspect in a late-Friday-night deadly stabbing is at large.

According to the Northglenn Police Department, agencies statewide are actively searching with local officials for Alexei Munive-Rodriguez, a 48-year-old man wanted in connection with a homicide on Friday night.
Officers reportedly responded just after 10 p.m. on Friday to the 10500 block of Irma Drive on a reported stabbing, where they found a victim with stab wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving efforts.
According to the release, Munive-Rodriguez was quickly identified as a suspect and an alert was sent to law enforcement groups statewide, while a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputy attempted a stop on a vehicle associated with the investigation.

A pursuit began; however, the suspect vehicle crashed near Lamar, and the driver fled. The driver remains at large; however, it was not specified whether or not the driver was Munive-Rodriguez, who officers say is believed to be armed and dangerous.
