DENVER (KDVR) — In an update following another street takeover on Broadway in Denver, officials have announced multiple arrests and citations.

In an email to FOX31, Denver police said that the incident on Sunday night at 10th and Broadway appeared to be connected to several incidents that occurred in the metro area.
“These are dynamic events that require a great deal of coordination and follow-up investigations,” police said.
According to the Denver Police Department, the Sunday night incident led to the following, courtesy of the Street Racing Enforcement Team:
- Seven arrests
- Five impounded vehicles
- Three citations
- One recovered and illegal gun
Officials said some of the vehicles impounded were involved in the street takeover incident, which was not the first of its kind this year on Broadway Street.
The arrests and impounded vehicles from Sunday night’s incident put street racing enforcement operation numbers as follows, for 2026:
- 71 vehicles impounded
- 322 citations
- 92 arrests
- Five recovered guns
Denver police also cited the previous street takeover that occurred on July 31 at South Broadway and Mississippi Avenue, adding that the department has made multiple adjustments to the street racing enforcement efforts…
