Opportunity Zones incentivize investment, business expansion in low-income communities across the state
The state of Colorado on Monday submitted 91 geographic areas, the maximum allowed, for federal designation as new Opportunity Zones, including several in the Colorado Springs and Denver metro areas.
The submissions are part of the federal Opportunity Zone initiative that incentivizes long-term private investments in designated low-income communities.
