Aurora man claims self-defense in shooting of stepbrother

An Aurora man accused of fatally shooting his stepbrother claimed his brother pulled a knife on him before the shooting.

Aurora police arrested Zackery Mitchell Williams, 32, on Tuesday evening after he allegedly shot and killed his stepbrother, 36-year-old David Burrow, after an argument.

Police were called at about 6:30 p.m. by a neighbor in the 1800 block of South Fairplay Street, where officers found Burrow suffering from gunshot wounds, according to an arrest affidavit…
