DENVER (KDVR) — The owners of a Denver parking garage that partially collapsed in March said the damaged structure will need to be demolished, even as several vehicles remain trapped inside.
The building’s owner has warned that the demolition process could destroy the remaining cars.

The garage partially collapsed on March 23, crushing several vehicles and damaging others. Some cars have since been removed, but an engineering report determined it would be unsafe to retrieve vehicles located closer to the collapse zone.
In an email to tenants, a spokesperson for the Florida-based property management company SF Partners said the demolition process “will likely result in additional damage to the remaining vehicles and may ultimately result in total losses.”…
