CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Sunday marks the last day of weekend mass for more than 80 churches across Iowa as the Archdiocese of Dubuque consolidates 160 parishes into 24 pastorates.
The Diocese covers 30 counties and represents as many as 180,000 Catholics.
This comes as the diocese reports a 46 decline in attendance over the last 20 years with fewer available priests…
