Organizers and participants of this years festival shared a new youth empowerment effort. It’s called the “We See You” star award, highlighting youth in Iowa communities.
Organizers say young people never really get a chance in the spotlight. There are several non-profits involved, along with partnership with DART to provide rides to the festival.
