Drivers will continue to see construction work near the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office through next month.
Construction started last week on two new turn lanes into the sheriff’s office on Highway 6 and is slated to continue through October 16. The department says the new turn lanes will make it safer and easier to get in and out of the sheriff’s office, but there will be some construction and traffic impacts around the entrance while the work is underway.
