Polk County issues $13.6M bond for repairs to jail, sewer system

The Polk County Board of Supervisors approved a loan agreement with Regions Capital Advantage Inc. to issue a general obligation bond of $13.6 million to fund improvements to the county jail and sewer system.

Capital improvement projects at the county jail include installing solar panel construction, a video management system and various repair and maintenance projects.
