I’m always looking for new comedians. I have my favorites, including Chris Rock, Lewis Black, Dave Chappelle, Rodney Dangerfield, Sarah Silverman, Jim Gaffigan, JB Smoove, Jon Stewart, Larry David, Seth Meyers, Nikki Glaser, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel and Sebastian Maniscalco.
In more recent times I discovered another one worth telling friends about: stand-up comic Brian Kiley, a Boston-area native who was a writer for Conan O’Brien for 27 years and for The Ellen Show during its final season. He has performed more than 20 times collectively on late-night TV — on Jay Leno, Conan O’Brien, and David Letterman. He also has a half-hour special on Comedy Central to his credit.
