Since 1866, Vernors has been Michigan’s pop, synonymous with both sick days and Michigan. The Detroit Historical Society states it perfectly, “Vernor’s and the City of Detroit grew together.” Now, it’s looking to celebrate that bond with the city that put the drink on the map for its 160th birthday, which is sure to cause all ale to break loose.
The only downside to this celebration is that it is in Detroit, a bit of a hike for us in West Michigan. However, if you’re willing to make the trip, it sounds like there will be some pretty great activities to participate in…
