Health inspection records for an Oakland County nursing home where a patient was diagnosed with Legionnaire’s disease show a list of recurring concerns with patient hygiene, medication errors and equipment failure.
Channel 7 first reported the Legionnaire’s case at Woodward Hills Rehabilitation, but it’s unclear if that’s where the patient contracted the disease. Woodward Hills officials told Channel 7 some fixtures were barred from use while water tests are underway. Results won’t be available for at least two weeks.
