Nearly 50 years in business, The Pantry is Macomb County’s breakfast table

With family photos lining the walls, a coffee cup that never seems to run dry, a secret, patented pancake batter and a whiteboard of specials that change every day, The Pantry Restaurant has been a Macomb County breakfast staple for almost 50 years.

Joe Moceri originally opened the Sterling Heights location in May of 1978, serving up omelets, crepes, pancakes, sandwiches and the kind of hospitality that keeps generations of diners coming back.

A second location later followed in Clinton Township on Hall Road, but the Van Dyke spot remains the original—and the heart of the family’s story…
