EASTPOINTE — For the past two years, a group of women — and a few men too — have gathered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings to put their best foot forward.
They are members of the Eastside Walkers, and they get together to walk for their health and also for faith, fun and friendship.
During the warm months, the group can be found strolling through Spindler Park, 19400 Stephens Road in Eastpointe. In colder weather, usually beginning around early November, the Eastside Walkers take the program indoors to Macomb Mall, 32233 Gratiot Ave. in Roseville, to get in their exercise.
