A missing 15-year-old girl was found in an Inkster apartment after investigators traced online ads featuring her to a man now charged with child sex trafficking, according to a federal affidavit.
Illya Matthew Green Jr. was charged Sept. 23. Two days earlier, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted investigators that the girl appeared in an active listing.
The listing referred to the girl and an adult woman as “ME & TWIN” and said they would travel to a customer.
An undercover agent texted the listed number. The person responding asked whether the customer wanted one or both. The exchange discussed a $300 half-hour encounter involving both and included what appeared to be a request for FaceTime verification. The meeting never happened.
The number appeared in 138 listings from Nov. 26, 2025, through Sept. 21, 2026, though the filing does not say all featured the girl. Green had given that number and a Tobin Street address to Michigan corrections officials in May. The adult woman’s license listed the same address.
