Father of five run over, killed at Warren flea market after dispute escalates

WARREN, Mich. (WXYZ) — A father of five is dead after police say a dispute at a Warren flea market escalated and he was run over by a van Saturday afternoon at the County Line Trade Center near 8 Mile and Dequindre roads.

Mirhad Cehic, 59, had been a vendor at the County Line Flea Market for years, selling items like lawn mowers and snowblowers. He immigrated to the United States from Bosnia more than 30 years ago.

His 24-year-old son, Alvin Cehic, said his father’s death has left the family searching for answers…
