On Saturday at 1:27 p.m. EDT a frost advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid for Sunday between midnight EDT and 8 a.m. EDT for Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Tuscola, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe counties.
The weather service informs, “Temperatures as low as 32 degrees will result in frost formation.”
“Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered,” explains the weather service. “Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.”
