Effective July 1, 2026, the Creedmoor Police Department will officially transfer its telecommunications and dispatch operations to Granville County 911, marking a significant milestone in the department’s ongoing commitment to providing efficient, reliable and professional emergency communications services.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the Creedmoor Police Department and support their officers and citizens,” said Granville County 911 Director Stacy Hicks. “I appreciate Chief Wheless’s trust in our team as we have worked closely together to make sure this transition is seamless for the officers, 911 staff, and the community.”
Beginning at 6 a.m. July 1, all emergency calls for the Creedmoor Police Department will be answered and dispatched through the Granville County 911 Communications Center. Residents should dial 911 for emergencies and use the Granville County’s non-emergency number (919) 690-0444 for non-emergencies.
