Cary is getting a standalone Little Caesars Pizza after eight years of only having a Little Caesars Express inside a Han-Dee Hugo’s gas station on Gregson Drive. The full Little Caesars restaurant is preparing to open at 100 Wrenn Dr., where signage is now up.
The franchise’s new location is nestled between a Duck Donuts and Chipotle Mexican Grill. Prior to the upcoming pizza shop was a Firehouse Subs before it closed. The Cary Report, a Facebook account, posted a reel to site showcasing the ongoing construction. The upcoming location is roughly a six-minute drive from East Chatham Street in downtown Cary.
“Cary hasn’t had a traditional Little Caesars storefront since 2018, when its previous locations closed,” the post said. “That means the new Wrenn Drive location will mark the return of a traditional Little Caesars to Cary for the first time in about eight years.”
Little Caesars, a Michigan-based company, was founded in 1959, by husband-and-wife duo Mike and Marian Ilitch. The first franchise of the brand opened in 1962.
