Rising grocery costs are creating challenges for a Durham entrepreneur. Angela McLean, who once owned Backyard Barbecue in Durham, is now serving meals to seniors after the economic downturn forced her to close her restaurant.
On Tuesday, ABC11 met McLean as she prepared fish, collard greens and yams for 37 seniors. After a recent grocery shopping trip, she said the rising cost of ingredients has become increasingly difficult to manage.
