On the evening of Monday, September 14, the Mebane Planning Board unanimously recommended the approval of a rezoning proposal that will allow for a new apartment community to be constructed on a 13.9 acre tract in western Orange County. The Mebane City Council will have the ultimate say on the matter as they prepare to take up the proposed development along South Eleventh Street in Mebane at their next meeting October 20.
Toledo Builders – represented at the Planning Board meeting by TMTLA Associates – is seeking to construct 120 apartment units and a community building on the properly for a development that will be known as Gardens on 11th.
