Raleigh business targeted multiple times in a day by thieves who took $1,000+ in tools

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A Wake County business owner said he’s tired of thieves.

The owner of Flooring Concepts, Christopher Wall, said that over the weekend a couple thousand dollars worth of tools were stolen from them.

Wall shared the surveillance video that captured the moment thieves rummaged through two of the company vans parked near the business on Associate Drive. He said it happened twice in less than 24 hours on Sunday.

“My neighbors next door—the plumbers—came to my office and they noticed someone broke into their van. So I looked at my security system and at the same time someone walked in and notified me that the tools were missing from our trucks,” said Wall.

Wall said a red car and at least one man in a black hooded sweatshirt appeared at the business around 10:30am on Sunday. Later that day around 11:15pm, he said two others showed up in a different vehicle. He doesn’t believe the two crimes were connected.

“On the camera, you can tell they’re separate people, like the build of the people was different. It wasn’t the same people,” said Wall.
