Summer Quest gives middle school students a taste of career tech

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Friday was a big day for students attending Summer Quest, a weeklong camp at Francis Tuttle where middle school students get a taste of career tech before they start high school.

“They need to be challenged. So, I challenge them,” said Karen Moseley, a culinary instructor for Summer Quest.

For a $95 registration fee, kids ages 11-14 spent a week in career tech. They could take classes from cooking and baking all the way to coding and engineering…
