OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – An Oklahoma City dog rescue group found nearly 20 malnourished and wounded greyhounds on a property in Tillman, Oklahoma. Hounds of the Heartland shared updates about the rescue on their Facebook Friday.
Abandoned animals recovered by Tulsa animal rescue
The dogs were reportedly found in poor conditions and appeared to be severely malnourished and wounded. The rescue group is asking for donations during this unprecedent time.
In the update shared Friday, all dogs found on the property were rescued. Hounds of the Heartland secured 5 of the greyhounds and got them immediate medical attention. The pups are also scheduled to be groomed in hopes of clearing any fleas, ticks, and dirt.
