OKC Zoo’s five lion cubs to move to new zoo in Florida soon

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — The Oklahoma City Zoo’s said five of its lion cubs are starting a new chapter and moving to the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in Florida.

The OKC Zoo’s five lion cubs Herman, Lou, Pascal. Hugo, and Henri are moving to a new habitat at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay a fellow member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

The OKC Zoo said the decision to move the lion cubs was made through a collaboration with the AZA’s Species Survival Plan 9SSP) for African Lions, the OKC Zoon and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The zoo said the move allows the cubs the amazing opportunity to grow as a coalitions…
