NABC, Bill Knight Collision Repair Donate Recycled Ride

The National Auto Body Council (NABC), along with Farmers and Bill Knight Collision Repair, a member of the OpenRoad Collision network of brands, recently donated a refurbished vehicle to an Oklahoma City veteran to help him care for his young sons. The donation was made via the NABC’s Recycled Rides program.

The presentation took place at Bill Knight Collision Repair in Tulsa, Okla. The recipient was nominated by Oklahoma Veterans United.

“This is part of what we do when we find veterans that have been through a lot of challenges in their life and then they take the necessary steps to get back on their feet and kind of get themselves in a much better spot than they have,” said Tim Bates, member of the NABC board. “We look for charities, such as the one that recommended [Mr. Haywood] today, to give back to him what he’s given to our nation. This is going to be life-changing for him. He has struggled with the transportation piece for a long time. Obviously, it interferes with daily life, and with him being a single father as well, this is going to restore a lot back to him.”…
