Oklahoma County drug court helping break addiction cycle, save taxpayer money

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Addiction is a cycle that no one wants to be stuck in. Many times it can land people in prison. In Oklahoma County, judges say one program is helping to turn lives around by focusing on recovery instead of prison time, all while saving taxpayers’ money.

“The foundation of a safe community is helping people,” said Judge Kenneth Stoner.
