It was a sweet dozen for the Palo Verde boys and a high five for the Coronado girls at the Nevada 5A State Swimming and Diving Championships.
Palo Verde claimed its 12th straight title, finishing 20 points ahead of runner-up Bishop Gorman. The Coronado girls’ team cruised to a fifth straight crown, finishing 42 points better than runner-up Reno.
