EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Borderland’s biggest event weekend of the year is officially underway, with fans already pouring into the Sun City from across the region. However, with the addition of visitors comes a shift in weather conditions ahead of the main events.

Steady rain fell across the city on Thursday, with chances for heavy rain going into Friday, prompting KTSM 9 News to issue a Weather Authority Alert. Despite the damp conditions, fans were still out early, especially at the Sun Bowl, where lines formed for BTS merchandise ahead of the back-to-back shows.
