A violent three-vehicle crash Aug. 5 on West 26th Street near Interstate 79 in Erie sent five people to the hospital and shut down a major thoroughfare for hours.
A lengthy investigation into the accident led Erie police on July 7 to charge a Fairview Township woman with causing it.
