An incident at Grover Cleveland Elementary School is raising concerns among parents in the Erie School District after a student allegedly made a threat toward classmates.
Erie News Now spoke with Erie School District Coordinator of Public Relations and Strategic Communications Erica Erwin about the incident. She says “an assessment team investigated the incident and determined there was no credible threat.” However, some parents say the situation has left them uneasy.
One parent, whose child was in the classroom at the time, took to social media, writing in part, “How am I supposed to send my child to school tomorrow after a classmate threatened to come back and shoot up the entire class?”
