Oregon State has added one of the top in-state prospects to its 2027 recruiting class.
Kawai Chamberlin, a three-star linebacker out of Willamette High, committed to the Beavers on Tuesday. He took an official visit to Corvallis last month and chose OSU over offers from Minnesota, Boise State and San Diego State, among others.
The 6-foot-2, 217-pound Chamberlin is the No. 5 player in Oregon in the 247Sports Composite, the highest-ranked in-state commit for the Beavers since Damir Collins was No. 3 among in-state players in 2021…
