SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Willamalane started construction on the long-awaited redevelopment of Tyson Park in Springfield.
The park is now closed and will remain shut through October. Construction just began at the park located at 34th Street and E Street.
The project includes a new playground, sports courts, a community garden and other upgrades. Willamalane says once complete, the park will be exactly what the community wanted…
