Broadway, a street near the University of Oregon, is undergoing its second phase to transform the roadway and increase pedestrian access.
In June 2025, Eugene started phase one of the Broadway project, removing a lane of eastbound traffic to make room for a wider sidewalk, street trees and commercial-use on-street parking on Patterson and Alder streets.
