Jahlil Florence saw an opening in Missouri’s cornerback room. He then called a familiar face. Florence told then-Oregon teammate Sione Laulea to think about joining him at Mizzou when he heard Laulea was considering entering the transfer portal.
“I definitely wanted to encourage him and persuade him to come here with me as well, so we can both have the opportunity to compete and do what we want to do in our future,” Florence said.
