Springfield police continue to investigate a report of a shooting Saturday, Aug. 8, in a residential area about a block north of Highway 126 and less than a mile west of 19th Street.
Springfield Police Department (SPD) officers were dispatched at about 10:45 p.m. to the intersection of Debra Drive and R Street.
“I can confirm there was a shooting incident,” Lt. Justin Myers said in an email Thursday. “The case is currently under investigation by SPD and will be reviewed by the Lane County District Attorney’s Office.”…
