EUGENE, Ore. – A new cancer fighting tool has arrived in Eugene that gives patients advanced imaging and a higher level of cancer care.
The Willamette Valley Cancer Institute and Research Center showed off its new PET/CT imaging scanner. The “PET” scan shows how your cells and tissues are working, while the “CT” scan uses X-rays to show their exact size and shape.
