The transfer portal has provided college football fans with no shortage of storylines. There may be another on Tuesday as the Ducks picked up a new prediction to land Washington cornerback Jabbar Muhammad .
The prediction comes from Gerry Hamilton , a senior recruiting analyst at On3, who had previously logged a prediction for Muhammad to commit to Texas on January 18.
Muhammad has taken visits to both Texas and Alabama in the last week and is expected to visit Oregon this week for his final trip before making a decision. If he were to commit to Oregon, he’d be the fourth defensive back the Ducks have added from the transfer portal this offseason, joining UTSA cornerback Kameryn Alexander , Duke nickel Brandon Johnson and Kansas State safety Kobe Savage .

So what do we make of this new prediction?
Well, I’ve talked to a couple people since Muhammad wrapped up his most recent visit to Alabama and feel very good about Oregon’s chances here. The Ducks are stilled expected to host him on campus for a visit this week, which in my eyes would be the last thing they need before securing a commitment.
